Customer Support Representative - Full Time
Join our team at Dohrn Transfer Company, a leading Midwest LTL carrier providing less‑than‑truckload and truckload services across our 10‑state area. We offer a competitive salary and a robust benefit package in an exciting and rewarding industry.
Location: Milwaukee, WI terminal
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm (hours can vary)
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Position SummaryProvide exceptional customer service and assist customers with inquiries and issues, acting as a liaison between the customer and the company.
Essential Functions- Field inbound emails, chats, and calls, providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Respond to inquiries with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Trace and monitor accounts to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Assist with scheduling pickups and completing deliveries.
- Educate customers on self‑service options when possible.
- Act as a problem solver to handle customer issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct account research and document fulfillment requests.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Maintain excellent communication and active listening skills.
- May require occasional travel.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Valid driver license.
- Excellent verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
- Positive mindset.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and computer systems; comfortable with data entry.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Patience and empathy to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and stay organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged sitting.
- May occasionally require exerting up to 10 pounds of force for lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects.
- Standard office environment with adequate lighting and temperature.
- Regular use of computer screens or monitors.
- Manual dexterity required for typing and repetitive wrist motions.
- Talking and hearing required for communication; occasional exposure to office noise.
