Employees within a 90-minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in-office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.

We are seeking talented Senior Software Engineers who can create complex .NET back-end solutions and scalable user experiences while collaborating with an experienced team of product development professionals. You will join a cross-functional, Dev Ops based, Agile team responsible for the entire product development life cycle, encompassing conception, discovery, framing, development, deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement. As a Senior Software Engineer, you should possess expertise in both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

The Senior Software Engineer will report to a Software Engineering Manager in the Technology Department.

• Work independently while demonstrating engagement, initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Engage deeply with team goals, contributing ideas and improvements beyond assigned tasks.
• Uphold integrity and responsibility in all aspects of software development and collaboration.
• Collaborating with Users, Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to foster ideation and deliver cutting-edge software solutions. Strong communication skills.
• Lead and participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and driving consistent high quality software development.
• Lead and participate in the documenting of software programs with flowcharts, layouts, charts and diagrams.
• Employ and coach engineers on a Test First and Acceptance Criteria Driven approach to continuously test and deliver high-quality software.
• Deep experience in designing and developing .NET back-end and front-end solutions while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements, such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability and reliability.
• Lead and participate in code reviews and ensure alignment with coding/design best practices.
