As a wholesale instant quote sales specialist, you will play a key role in growing new business by increasing customer engagement with USLI’s phone and web quoting platforms. You’ll build meaningful relationships with customers, support them through training and marketing efforts and partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless quoting experience.
Key Responsibilities- Drive customer engagement: Increase submissions, quote count and premium growth by promoting and supporting the use of our quoting platforms
- Build strong partnerships: Meet regularly with assigned customers virtually and in-person to demonstrate systems, provide training and review results
- Lead training and outreach efforts: Deliver onboarding and ongoing education through webinars, in-person sessions and custom marketing campaigns
- Support customer success: Provide hands‑on assistance with marketing support, employee training and system implementation
- Monitor performance trends: Review quote activity weekly, identify trends and follow up with customers to help them meet submission goals
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with underwriting, leadership, business development managers and sales managers to align on strategy and execution
- Foster communication: Build strong working relationships with key contacts, including customer leadership and marketing teams
- Identify and elevate challenges: Proactively surface issues to internal leadership or customer contacts for timely resolution
- Stay engaged: Participate in internal meetings, team conferences and additional projects as needed
- Relationship‑building experience: Proven ability to develop authentic and productive business relationships
- Clear communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Customer‑first mindset: A passion for helping others succeed with a professional and service‑oriented approach
- Initiative and creativity: A self‑starter who is organized, dependable and able to develop creative solutions
- Adaptability and growth mindset: Willingness to learn quickly, take feedback and continuously develop professionally
- Travel: Willingness to travel for in‑person customer visits
- Industry experience: Two or more years in the property and casualty insurance industry, specializing in commercial, professional or personal lines
- Professional development: Currently pursuing or open to pursuing industry designations like CPCU or RPLU
- Acceptable driving record is required
$60,000 – $70,000
