Join Longchamp as a Concession Manager overseeing profitable business operations in partner department stores.
Job SummaryThe Concession Manager ensures team success in client conversations, sales, operations, professional development, merchandise presentation and assortment, while aligning with store directors and company policies.
Responsibilities- Leadership – supervise planning, assigning, directing work; review performance; coach employees; address complaints.
- Recruitment – partner with HR for hiring and employee relations.
- Team – assign daily tasks and goals; follow up and coach to ensure completion.
- Reporting – complete weekly sales reports, suggest and implement adjustments.
- Training – train and develop shop associates; monitor professional development.
- Collaboration – coordinate with Warehouse Distribution Center, Customer Service Manager, and internal managers for shipping and delivery.
- Trend Review – recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals.
- Additional tasks – as instructed by Retail Director.
- Customer Service – maintain high standards; greet customers; provide brand and product knowledge.
- Sales & Profitability – meet sales targets using short/long range planning, expense management, inventory control.
- Client Books – develop and maintain client books for team.
- Event Preparation – prepare for sales, activation events, inventory periods.
- Gift Wrap – wrap and bag items; arrange delivery for special orders.
- POS Transactions – perform all POS transactions proficiently across systems.
- Shipments – prepare, send, receive shipments.
- Merchandising – ensure correct merchandising; oversee floor moves, displays, displays; tag merchandise.
- Price Accuracy – identify and communicate price changes/errors.
- Shrink Control – control shrink and expenses.
- Policy Up‑to‑date – keep updated on new items, promotions, policies.
- Cleanliness – maintain clean sales floor and stockroom.
- High School Diploma (or GED) and degree in Retail, Fashion or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years luxury retail, boutique or sales experience.
- 2+ years supervisory experience in scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, budgeting and goal setting.
- Understanding of inventory and customer experience.
- Proficient with POS programs (e.g., CEGID) and UPS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Independent judgment and discretionary powers.
- Familiarity with retail operations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Clear verbal communication.
- Interpersonal skills for building relationships.
- Organized, self‑starter, multi‑task capable under stress.
- Computer and POS proficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- French language a plus.
