Job Description Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role manages cross‑functional teams, overseer project timelines, mitigates risks, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, effective problem solver, and skilled in leading teams through complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.
- Manage day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring progress toward milestones.
- Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Coordinate cross‑functional project teams and clarify roles and responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively on project status, risks, issues, and decisions.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project issues, elevate when necessary, and drive resolution.
- Adjust project plans and resources based on changing priorities.
- Process & Quality Assurance
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout.
- Drive adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct project post‑mortems and implement lessons learned.
- At least 10+ years’ experience in an industrial environment managing large-scale industrial projects including equipment de/commissioning, green and brown fields, closures and transfers
- Projects must have presented a substantial level of complexity: regulatory, engineering, financial, people, etc, and scale
- Ability to be very hands‑on, but also the ability to interact with executive leadership at an appropriate level
- Preference for individuals who have been trained in organizations with a strong Project Management corporate tradition
- Functional Spanish is a definite asset
