JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior QA Analyst works on a team of software developers conducting IT software testing to identify potential quality issues and to ensure that applications meet business requirements with the highest level of QA standards. This role is responsible for conducting quality testing methodologies including Functional, Smoke, Regression, Performance, Mobile, Negative, Load and Performance testing.
Job Duties- Reviews requirements and works with Business Analysts and Technical team to identify testable requirements.
- Develops and maintains testing-related documentation, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Scripts, Test reports, and Bug reports.
- Performs testing throughout the product life cycle including functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, load, and mobile testing.
- Works closely with Developers, Business Analysts and QA Analysts to elevate potential quality issues.
- Logs enhancement requests and bugs in an issue tracker with detailed steps and screenshots to recreate the issue.
- Maintains association between defects, test cases, requirements, test case management software and traceability matrices.

- Bachelor’s degree, required.
- Four (4) or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst within IT solutions or equivalent role, required.
- Experience with writing test plans and executing automated testing to include functional, smoke, regression, load, negative and mobile strategies, required.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG, preferred.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, C#, or Python to write automated tests or perform code reviews, preferred.
- Experience with testing web technologies, APIs, and mobile application testing, preferred.

- One (1) or more of the following, preferred:
- Azure Dev Ops, JIRA
- HP Quality Center or other equivalent
- SQL / T-SQL
- Selenium
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as operate efficiently in a collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with cross functional teams in the organization.
- Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately elevate issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability to clearly articulate testing requirements, issues, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the testing process.
National Range: $95,000 - $100,000
Maryland Range: $95,000 - $100,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $95,000 - $100,000
