Cyber Security Project Manager

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager who can take the lead on planning and delivering company-wide security projects across different business units.

• Manage several cybersecurity work streams from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and meeting expectations.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and manage the RFP process.

• 5+ years of growing responsibility leading cybersecurity or IT projects within large global companies (DLP, endpoint, threat detection, firewalls, application security).
• Hands‑on background in data protection or risk management projects is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to deliver major, complex programs across different cultures and varying levels of technical maturity.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an additional 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute; a Master’s degree is beneficial.
• Clear, confident communicator with strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple time zones and regions.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and execute accurately.
• Skilled at collaborating with and influencing senior leadership.

Intermediate Level.

Contract to Hire position based in Oak Brook, IL. Hybrid work.

Pay range: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour.
