HR Generalist
Department: Human Resources & Recruiting
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Oak Brook, IL
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 / year
DescriptionASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Human Resources Generalist that will act as a strategic partner and liaison with corporate organizational leaders and their teams, to deliver HR solutions in partnership with the core HR functions of talent acquisition; talent development; compensation; benefits and HR analytics.
How You Will Help- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with leaders, supporting the effective implementation of HR programs and talent processes.
- Collaborate with HR Practice Centers to deliver integrated HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to attract and hire top talent.
- Work with the divisional Talent Organizational Consultant to deliver development programs, including succession planning and leadership development.
- Partner with Compensation on annual planning and provide guidance on market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support onboarding programs across functions and the division.
- Coach and advise managers on a wide range of employee lifecycle matters.
- Guide leaders through annual performance cycles, ensuring consistency in goal setting and performance assessments.
- Support change management initiatives, including communication planning and transition support.
- Analyze engagement survey results (Your Voice Counts) and partner with leadership to implement strategies that enhance employee engagement.
- Use internal and external HR metrics to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of core HR functions such as talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent development, HR analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state employment and laws, labor laws.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office (Powerpoint) & use of HRIS applications).
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field and 2-4 years HR experience or equivalent.
