Sr. HR Business Partner
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with 5+ years of progressive HR experience to join our team, reporting to the VP of Human Resources. This HRBP will support 12 U.S. facilities in the East and Midwest, serving approximately 300 employees. Additionally, this role will contribute to regional and global projects, enhancing the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with general managers at the West facilities to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide data-driven HR insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
- Serve as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, offering innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Partner with the general managers on talent needs and drive the next-level down talent review in collaboration with the Operations Leader and general managers. Ensure appropriate actions are taken for employee development and succession.
- Support recruitment efforts by working with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Provide guidance to managers on compensation reviews for offers, promotions and the annual merit process.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Act as a primary HR contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Guide managers through performance improvement plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions.
- Drive a high-performance culture through coaching and development strategies.
- Organizational Development & Change Management
- Support general managers in driving employee engagement and retention efforts through engagement survey action planning and other culture initiatives.
- Execute HR initiatives related to organizational restructuring, change management, and culture enhancement.
- Partner with leadership to implement strategies that foster a diverse and equitable workplace.
- HR Compliance & Policies
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and industry regulations.
- Stay up to date on employment law changes and proactively adjust policies as needed.
- Manage workplace investigations and resolve employee conflicts effectively
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience. Prefer at least 3 years of HR Business Partner experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Management or other applicable field) from an accredited College/University.
- Broad HR background and understanding of the function supporting implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make informed decisions and influence others
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and ability to communicate within a matrix organization
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to leverage technology and defined processes to support execution of services.
- Detail oriented with ability to work independently in fast-paced environment. Cross functional partnering with other departments: operations, sales, engineering, quality, EHS.
- Salary Range: $76,000 - $122,000 per year, depending on experience.
