Head of SEC Accounting

Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote | Oak Brook

We’re looking for a strategic, technically strong Head of SEC & Compliance Reporting to lead our external reporting function. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you’ll own the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of public filings while helping shape the future of ESG and global regulatory reporting.

• Lead the end‑to‑end preparation and filing of SEC reports, including 10‑K, 10‑Q, and 8‑K
• Oversee financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A to ensure compliance and clarity
• Manage quarterly earnings reporting in partnership with Investor Relations and FP&A
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors for disclosures and filings
• Oversee IFRS reporting and statutory filings across international entities
• Lead reporting for capital markets transactions, including debt offerings
• Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and provide strategic insights to leadership
• Partner with sustainability leadership to drive ESG reporting strategy
• Support frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, and TCFD
• Strengthen ESG data governance and assurance processes
• Lead and mentor a high‑performing reporting team
• Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Investor Relations
• Drive continuous improvement and scalable reporting processes

• CPA required;
  Bachelor’s in Accounting and Master’s preferred
• 8–10+ years of progressive external reporting experience
• Deep SEC reporting expertise in a public company environment
• Big Four public accounting background strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS
• Experience leading complex, cross‑functional reporting initiatives
• Exposure to ESG or sustainability reporting is a major plus
