We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and recording all balance sheet and income statement activity in accordance with GAAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do- Prepare accurate financial statements according to established schedules.
- Research, analyze, and summarize financial activity to support decision-making.
- Review and interpret general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including Structure & Finance and Asset Management—to resolve discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Support special accounting projects and initiatives as needed.
- Demonstrate strong personal and professional integrity while adhering to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year accredited college or university required.
- 2–3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience in a real estate environment strongly preferred.
- CPA certification (or active pursuit) is preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and Outlook required.
- Strong keyboarding and data-entry skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Annual Base Salary Range: $
70,000-$80,000
. This position is eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus program.
