Business Development Director

Your Role at BSI

The purpose of the Regional Business Development Director is to develop new clients and manage sales for existing clients which will increase BSI Engineering’s sustainability and promote opportunities for future growth. The focus of the role is on clients that are geographically close (within 250 miles) to the regional office. The Director will assist with the Account Management Program to strengthen client relationships, leading to horizontal growth of existing client bases and fostering repeat business.

Though not having direct reports, the Director will play a key role in the success of the regional office and will help BSI Engineering achieve its purpose of "Creating Solutions, Improving Lives."

• Develop and manage a regional new client growth plan.
• Assist in the development of the Sales Forecasting program with the VP of Business Development.
• Provide input into the development of the geographic growth diversification program.
• Build a structured plan to bring work into the regional office.
• Use and suggest improvements to the proposal management program.
• Assist in the development of the company marketing program.
• Work collaboratively with the VP of Business Development to create a sales forecast per region.
• Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to grow client relationships.
• Support topics at management team meetings.
• Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to ensure profit margin targets are hit.

• 10+ years of experience in Business Development
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant experience in a similar role
