Position OverviewThe Village of Oak Brook Police Department is seeking a qualified Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative and confidential support to department leadership. This full-time, non-union role supports daily operations and requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma required; coursework in management, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Minimum three years of clerical, records, or public-contact experience.
- Municipal/government experience required (municipal preferred).
- Experience with law enforcement databases or municipal accounting systems preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
- Proficiency with office equipment and data entry.
Work is performed in an office environment with generally safe working conditions and occasional light physical activity.
Salary & BenefitsThis is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $64,640 to $87,663. This position is benefits and pension eligible through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
