Staff Accountant

Our client, a well‑established leader in the distribution space, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. Work arrangements: Hybrid (2X/week on‑site)

Salary: $80K-$90K+ 10% bonus

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage the supplier inventory billing portal, prepare invoices for timely payment, and reconcile payment activity
• Collaborate with business partners (e.g., Amazon) to track and resolve disputes
• Gain hands‑on experience with inventory accounting (ASC software used; training provided) and assist with tariff impact analysis and inventory valuation considerations
• Support audit requests and assist with maintaining, updating, and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation
• Partner across teams including FP&A, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Operations; work closely with leadership on inventory- and tariff‑related discussions
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-3 years of public or industry accounting experience
• Inventory accounting experience preferred but not required
• Motivated, growth‑oriented, and eager to make an impact
• Strong communicator, comfortable working cross‑functionally
