The Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and is responsible for the general accounting functions for Office Revolution and its various entities. This role oversees the company’s accounts receivable function, including managing billing and collections processes, monitoring customer payments, and implementing credit control policies.
The Staff Accountant focuses on ensuring timely payments, maintaining the company’s financial health, and improving accounts receivable performance through strategic planning and process improvements. This position is also responsible for financial reporting and dispute resolution.
Job Responsibilities General Accounting & Month-End Close- Preparation and posting of general journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain and update balance sheet reconciliations; resolve reconciling items.
- Balance intercompany sales and intercompany GL accounts.
- Maintain capital asset accounts and post depreciation entries.
- Maintain recurring daily/weekly/monthly reports as specified by management.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Oversee timely and accurate billing and invoicing to customers.
- Monitor customer accounts and manage collections efforts.
- Implement and manage credit control policies to minimize risk.
- Resolve billing disputes and customer account issues.
- Reconcile accounts and analyze AR reports.
- Prepare financial forecasts and business intelligence reports related to collections and aging.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline AR operations.
- Provide assistance with AP as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Two (2) years of general accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership, management, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.

- Team player capable of successfully interacting at all levels, including customers, peers, senior leaders, and subordinates, to resolve day‑to‑day business issues.

- Capability to work independently, handle changing priorities, and meet short time constraints.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Windows and MS Office applications (advanced Excel).
- Strong working knowledge of financial accounting, ERP, and MRP systems.
