Staff Accountant

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000

• Own critical GL reconciliations & system interfaces as a Staff Accountant supporting month-end close

• Lead monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency

• Oversee bank & credit card reconciliations, working cross‑functionally to resolve discrepancies

• Prepare and post journal entries across multiple operational and financial work streams

• As a Staff Accountant, partner with business process owners to ensure accurate financial data flow into the ERP

• Drive accounting modernization through process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements

• Support internal/external audit & SOX activities, maintaining strong documentation and compliance

• Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and workflows as a contributing Staff Accountant

• Evaluate and help implement new technologies that enhance efficiency and improve reporting

• Work closely with leadership on special projects that elevate the Staff Accountant function

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–4+ years of GL and month‑end close experience suitable for a Staff Accountant role

• Strong reconciliations, journal entry, and financial analysis background

• Experience with large ERP systems

• Exposure to inventory, fixed assets, or lease accounting strongly preferred for a Staff Accountant

• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and ability to partner cross‑functionally

• Detail‑oriented Staff Accountant who enjoys tackling challenges and improving processes
