Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Bluffs, Iowa.

L&D / Postpartum RN (Mom‑Baby) responsible for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
Submission & Compliance Rules- Driver’s license required at submittal.
- Must live 50+ miles away from the facility.
- Candidate cannot be full‑time, part‑time, or PRN with any other facility.
- Artificial nails strictly prohibited; refusal to remove will result in immediate contract termination.
- Orientation Pass/Fail exam on Friday; open book; must score ≥90% or face termination.
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP.
- Level 1 Maternal Care – Low‑risk births; occasional magnesium patients, gestational diabetes.
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 Mom/Baby couplets; 1:1 Labor (mostly, depending on case).
- No minimum years required.
- Comfortable with labor, deliveries, postpartum care.
- NICU experience preferred (big plus).
- Common drips: insulin, magnesium, pitocin.
- Equipment:
Alaris IV pumps.
- Charge nurse on every shift; charge nurse takes assignments. Closed unit – no floating.
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend.
- Block scheduling not guaranteed; flexibility strongly preferred.
