Overview
Provides executive leadership, direction, and oversight for nursing practice and patient care activities, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and patient experience. Leads nursing staff education, professional development, and workforce planning in support of high-quality, compassionate, and fiscally responsible care delivery. Partners with hospital and enterprise colleagues to support the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals, modeling a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Directs nursing practice and related patient care activities as assigned.
- Oversees budgets, resource allocation, and workforce planning to meet patient care, staffing, and operational needs.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary leaders to implement programs, policies, and procedures that assess and meet the patient care needs of the populations served.
- As the senior nursing leader for the entity, partners with enterprise nursing colleagues on system initiatives and professional practice standards and serves as an active participant in nursing councils and hospital leadership committees.
- Ensures effective, bidirectional communication among bedside nurses, nursing leadership, hospital leadership, and system partners.
- Through nursing leadership, ensure appropriate staffing models that support established standards of care, patient safety, quality outcomes, and cost-effective care delivery.
- Monitors performance metrics, quality indicators, and patient outcomes to drive improvements in care delivery.
Master's Degree Nursing required or Doctorate Nursing preferred
