RoleThe Business Security Enablement Guild (BSEG) seeks a Lead Security Engineer to support Next Gen DMP programs in Vancouver. The role involves advising product and operational teams on secure design and architecture, ensuring industry best practices, and leading large, cross‑functional initiatives.
Responsibilities- Apply security principles, theories, and concepts throughout the business and development life cycle.
- Take a lead security position on large, complex, global initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Work closely with developers to evaluate business requests for feasibility.
- Recommend optimal solutions to meet security and regulatory requirements in the design of new or enhanced systems.
- Ensure established security policies and standards are observed on projects.
- Document enhancements to security standards and procedures.
- Prepare and present business/technical presentations.
- Degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent work experience (7‑10 years).
- CISSP or other industry‑recognized security certification desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of security domains, protocols, and standards; experience with software development, security architecture, and security designs.
- Technical experience with programming languages.
- Design and implementation of web‑based security architecture for secure online transactions.
- Knowledge of cryptography, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, digital certificates, SSL, VPN, IPSec, and DMZs.
- Experience with privileged identity management, file integrity, audit, logging, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
- Automation experience for content federation and life‑cycle management (OS images, binary packages, configuration management).
- Intermediate to advanced scripting experience.
- Moderate to extensive administrative and security experience with Linux systems.

Compensation and Benefits (US)The role offers a competitive base salary with potential for an annual bonus or commissions.
