What would you do as a Police Officer Recruit?

As a new Police Officer Recruit with the City of O'Fallon, you will be employed by the City of O'Fallon while attending the Eastern Missouri Police Academy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include participating in training programs, learning law enforcement protocols, and completing physical fitness requirements. You can expect to shadow experienced officers, gaining hands‑on experience in community policing, traffic enforcement, and emergency response.

Routine duties may involve patrolling designated areas, interacting with community members, and assisting with investigations as you build essential skills.

Your training will emphasize problem‑solving and innovative techniques, preparing you to uphold the law while fostering a sense of safety in O'Fallon.
