Middle School English Teacher, Grade 6

The Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging instruction in a Christ-centered learning environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and spiritual formation.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons aligned with curriculum objectives
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student learning needs
• Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and spiritual growth
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and observation
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, grading, and student performance
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
• Maintain appropriate classroom discipline and supervision of students
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support school goals

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Teaching certification preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) certification
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to integrating Christian faith and biblical worldview into teaching

• Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and learning experiences
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Proficiency with classroom technology and standard office equipment

• $25,000-$35,000 depending on experience and certifications.
