We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Purchasing and Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships and ensuring materials are available to support operations and production schedules.
The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, and ERP purchasing systems. This position works cross-functionally with operations, finance, and logistics to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase materials, components, and supplies required for operations
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate purchasing records
- Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to ensure material availability
- Track and expedite supplier deliveries to meet schedules
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while evaluating supplier performance
- Resolve supplier issues including delays, quality concerns, and pricing discrepancies
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and warehouse teams to support inventory planning
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- Experience with ERP systems and purchase order management
- Proficiency in Excel and purchasing analytics
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
