Gateway Fiber is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. With the support of its financial sponsor CBRE Investment Management, Gateway plans to reach 500,000 homes and businesses with its service over the next several years. Gateway provides faster, more reliable internet with a simple pricing model and industry-leading customer service.

- Accurately and efficiently enter accounts payable invoices into Net Suite, ensuring correct coding and proper approval routing.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment timing, discrepancies, missing documentation, and general inquiries.
- Collect and maintain vendor onboarding documentation, including W‑9s and banking information, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and virtual card payments.
- Assist the accounting team with month‑end close, including AP accruals and reconciliation of related accounts.
- Provide support on additional accounting and finance responsibilities based on departmental needs.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus (optional to include if preferred).
- Strong proficiency with Net Suite, including reporting and workflow management.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
