Lead Stylist Apprentice & Associate

Are you a licensed stylist with some experience under your belt, looking for a mentor who will actually invest in your growth? Fringe Artistic Salon and Spa is looking for a dedicated, driven Apprentice/Associate to work directly one-on-one under our Owner and Lead Stylist.

Our owner has a booming book and needs a right-hand stylist to help manage our high-energy, two-floor salon. You won't just be watching from the sidelines—you'll be in the thick of it.

• Daily Hands-On Training: You will work directly under the Owner/Lead Stylist every single day, receiving personalized coaching on advanced techniques.
• The "Personal Styling Day": We dedicate a specific day each week just for you. This is your time to bring in your own clients, build your personal book, and flex your creative muscles while still having the safety net of our expert team.

  Education:
  
  In addition to daily training, we host monthly in-house classes to keep your skills sharp and your trends current.
• Client Management: You'll assist with luxury color applications, foiling, and shampoos, but you'll also be given the autonomy to consult and work hands-on with our established elite clientele.

• Experienced & Licensed: You hold an active NJ Cosmetology License (or approved permit) and have some salon experience. You're ready to move past the "basics" and into high-level styling.
• A "People Person": You have a professional appearance and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. You understand that great hair is only half the job—the other half is great service.
• Motivated & Organized: You're a self-starter who stays on top of client logs and is always one step ahead of the lead stylist.

• Active NJ Board of Cosmetology License or Approved Student Permit
• Availability: Must be able to work at least one morning, one evening, and one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)
• Tools: Must have your own professional tools
• Reliability: Reliable transportation to our salon is a must
