Retail Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Nuneatonspeed. Warwickshire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over four days per sorta week, including weekends.

• Hours:
  
  20 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (Ages 16‑20 £ 10.10, ages 21+ £12. tied)
• 6 weeks holiday per year

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and a simple hello
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a respectful thank‑you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy – able to jump from putting out deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing important cleaning and stock rotation routines, and more
• Reliable – dependable and an important part of the small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down
• Flexibility with shifts – adapt when other members of the team are off or on holiday; rotations are planned three weeks in advance with commitments outside work taken into consideration
