Industrial Sewing Machinist
Coventry- CV6
Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 16:15pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
£12.21 per hour (overtime available)
Temporary – permanent
We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a busy production team working on an industrial scale. The role involves sewing transport-related items such as cushions, seats, and similar products.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be required to complete different sewing tasks daily while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
Industrial sewing of commercial seating (e.g. cushions, seating components)
Completing lockstitch, twin stitch, and over stitch work to a high standard
Carrying out daily machine care and basic maintenance
Working from job instructions and adapting to changing tasks
Maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency at all times Requirements
Previous experience as a sewing machinist (industrial preferred)
Confident using lockstitch, twin stitch, and over stitch machines
Ability to look after and maintain your sewing machine on a daily basis
Good attention to detail
Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
