Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client's team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual who can offer flexibility and commitment.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate a professional approach to their work, and have a genuine “can-do” attitude towards their responsibilities. While experience is essential, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

Key Responsibilities

Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
Sewing a range of materials to required specifications
Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and over locking
Ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship
Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
Working to production targets and deadlines
Following health & safety and quality procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role

Experience with :

Twin needle machines
Top sewing
Flat sewing
Overlock machines

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
Good timekeeping and reliability
