The Role As Registered Manager, youll be responsible for the overall leadership, quality, and compliance of the childrens home, supporting young people aged 817 with emotional and behavioural difficulties .
Youll:
Lead, develop, and motivate a skilled residential care team Create a warm, stable, and therapeutic home environment Champion therapeutically informed practice , including PACE Work closely with the Responsible Individual, psychologists, and therapists Drive excellent outcomes for children and positive Ofsted inspections Whats on Offer Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience, qualifications & outcomes) plus bonus Company bonus scheme & incentives Generous annual leave entitlement Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Person-centred development plan , including therapeutic training qualifications Full-time, permanent position with a supportive organisation
What Were Looking For Youll be an experienced and confident Registered Manager with a strong background in residential childcare. xekaoyc
Essential requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in residential childrens care At least 2 years experience managing and supervising staff NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England) Recent Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding Strong knowledge of therapeutic approaches , including PACE Excellent understanding of safeguarding, regulations, and quality standards
Key Responsibilities Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015 Implement and uphold the Statement of Purpose Oversee day-to-day operations while advocating for children and young people Lead safeguarding practice and promote a strong, safe culture Work in line with Ofsted SCCIF expectations Recruit, develop, supervise, and retain a high-quality staff team Participate in the on-call rota Embed the organisations therapeutically informed training programme into daily practice Safer Recruitment All appointments are subject to a robust safer recruitment process, including references and an enhanced DBS check .
