Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Anti‑Social Behaviour Officer to join our Landlord Services team. In this vital role, you’ll lead on the investigation and management of anti‑social behaviour (ASB) cases relating to our tenants across the borough.

You will work directly with victims, perpetrators, local communities, and partner agencies to resolve issues, reduce harm, and improve neighbourhood wellbeing.

You will also prepare and support in the presentation of legal cases in court, where required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of ASB referrals, from investigation to resolution.
  • Interview victims, perpetrators, and witnesses, ensuring accurate monitoring throughout.
  • Gather evidence, prepare legal documentation, and support our Legal team in presenting cases in court
  • Work closely with partners including Police, Social Services, Health agencies, Youth Offending Teams, and community groups.
  • Support victims of and perpetrators of harassment and serious ASB, ensuring appropriate safeguards and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate case records and produce professional reports.
  • Contribute to service improvements, training delivery, and cross‑departmental initiatives.
  • Attend meetings, including occasional evenings or out‑of‑hours work, when needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing and resolving ASB within a local authority or social housing provider setting
  • Strong partnership‑working skills and experience collaborating with multi‑agency teams.
  • Experience managing conflict and dealing with complex disputes.
  • Knowledge of ASB, crime and disorder legislation, and tenancy enforcement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support customers with empathy.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and operate Housing Management systems.
  • Qualification at Level 2 (including English).
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Additional information

It would be advantageous to also hold a professional qualification or evidence of ongoing professional development related to housing or ASB, and experience of rent accounting procedures.
