What you’ll be doing- Acting as a trusted finance partner to SLT budget owners and Central Finance leadership.
- Providing analytical support across a portfolio of Central Functions, covering budgeting, planning and financial reporting.
- Keeping spend on track through strong procurement, PO governance and cost control processes.
- Building and maintaining cost models that help us forecast accurately.
- Supporting third party spend reviews, contract renewals and commercial decision making.
- Enhancing financial control across both payroll and non payroll cost lines.
- Developing more automated, reliable reporting tools and ensuring the numbers we rely on are accurate.
- Contributing to cost efficiency initiatives and helping embed a cost conscious mindset across your stakeholder group.
- Providing ad hoc project support to Central Finance leadership when needed.
- Budgeting and forecasting submissions are accurate, timely and grounded in reality.
- Procurement and financial control processes are followed - and improved where possible.
- Stakeholders feel supported and rate the quality of your insights.
- Automated reporting solutions are adopted and genuinely add value.
- Clear evidence that your analysis is driving cost transparency and strategic alignment across your functional areas.
