Are you a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant looking for a varied KS2 role where no two days are the same?

Long Term Futures is working in partnership with a welcoming, well-led primary school in Nuneaton (CV10) to recruit a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis.

This role offers the opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 2, working flexibly within different classes and delivering targeted interventions.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys whole-class support, building strong relationships with pupils, and delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions to support progress and confidence.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Providing in-class support across KS2, assisting with lesson delivery and engagement

Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions in literacy, numeracy or targeted areas

Supporting pupils who need additional guidance with focus, organisation and confidence

Working closely with class teachers to adapt resources and meet learning objectives

Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a calm, inclusive learning environment

Supporting assessment, progress monitoring and pupil feedback

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2

Experience supporting pupils 1:1, including SEN

Confidence delivering structured interventions

A calm, flexible and proactive approach

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

A Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent)
