SEND Teaching Assistant

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a School in Nuneaton who require a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their school.

You will initially be required to work through Supply Star Recruitment on a probationary period, however on successful completion of this period you will be offered a permanent contract.

The school specifically supports learners aged between 11 - 19 all with a statement of special needs. They support children and young people with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, and Autism.

The school is inclusive with a team of staff who have the specialist knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the students. The school is classed as a "generic special needs school" and includes students who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

You must have a clear DBS certificate to be considered for this role. If you do not have one Supply Star Recruitment can support you in obtaining one.
