ResponsibilitiesThe Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing customer specific strategies aligned with the North American sales strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and manage a major OEM customer relationship, acting as a trusted advisor
- Build strong relationships across multiple levels within customer organizations
- Communicate product capabilities, technology roadmaps, and new program opportunities
- Lead RFQ activity from pre-quote through award and program launch
- Manage customer portals, CRM tools, and market intelligence resources
- Own account financials, sales strategy presentations, and customer negotiations
- Support launch, quality, engineering, and manufacturing-related customer issues
- Domestic and international travel as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Marketing
- 5+ years of experience managing or supporting General Motors as a customer
- Experience selling or supporting highly engineered automotive products preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
