General FunctionThe Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in Lens Crafters every time. The role helps establish Lens Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the best vision solution.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
- Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
- Maintain an attractive and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory.
- Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators with basic math skills
- Ability to adapt to new technology with a high level of accuracy
- Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results with a desire to meet goals
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a quickly changing environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
