This full-time position is situated in a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center within the metro Detroit area, renowned for its commitment to exceptional patient care and professional development.
Job Responsibilities:- Administer anesthesia through various methods, ensuring patient comfort and safety during surgical and medical procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists to establish effective anesthetic management plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care for all procedures.
- Provide airway management services for both emergent and non-emergent cases.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and exceed patient expectations.
- Support and mentor colleagues while upholding high standards of practice.
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- Engage in professional development and continuous learning activities.
- Promote a healthy work environment through respectful communication and problem resolution.
- Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- At least 2 years of CRNA work experience (not including RN or training).
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Active Nursing and Specialty License in Michigan.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (unless exempt).
- DEA and CSR/CDS licenses required prior to start.
- Must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites as needed.
- Applicants requiring visa support (J1 or H1B) are considered.
