Position Overview
Reliance One, Inc. is hiring a Benefits Coordinator to support the administration of employee benefit programs within a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1–2 years of benefits or human resources experience who is looking to expand their expertise in benefits administration while delivering a positive employee experience.
The Benefits Coordinator will support day-to-day benefits operations, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and compliance efforts.

Compensation & Benefits- $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and wellness programs
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries; resolve issues with vendors and carriers
- Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment processes
- Assist with open enrollment preparation, communications, and system updates
- Maintain accurate employee benefits records within HRIS systems
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and contributions
- Assist with benefits audits, reporting, and compliance documentation (ACA, ERISA, COBRA)
- Process life event changes, eligibility updates, and employee terminations
- Support benefits communications and employee education materials
- Partner with internal HR teams and external vendors to ensure smooth benefits operations
- 1–2 years of experience in benefits administration or human resources
- Familiarity with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators
- Experience assisting with open enrollment cycles
- Basic knowledge of employee benefits and related regulations (ACA, COBRA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field
- U.S. benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) administration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to understand and account for regional and cultural differences
- High energy, strong work ethic, and sense of urgency with high performance expectations
- Some domestic and international travel may be required for technical centers, conferences, training classes, or customer meetings
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA, EPA/DEQ, and other applicable agencies
- Support and actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety goals and objectives
