Job Summary

The role of the Senior Benefits Analyst is to manage and administer all health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs, assist with the implementation of new processes and programs, and ensure compliance. This position will have direct interaction with HR teams to ensure all aspects of benefits during the employment lifecycle are efficient. Responsibilities include working with external vendors, assisting HR teams with benefit‑related questions, and resolving administrative issues across all U.S. locations.

Responsibilities
  • Audit and administer H&W Plans, Wellness, and Retirement Programs for all U.S.

    -based active locations.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Manage day‑to‑day administration and serve as the recordkeeper for U.S. Health Care and Retirement Plans.
  • Interpret plan and policy details for administrative decisions, and provide customer support to Human Resources contacts.
  • Coordinate with payroll, TPA, and providers on all matters related to plan administration.
  • Prepare Form 5500 and audited financial reports required by law, including distribution of Legal Notices and SAR.
  • Facilitate development of the benefits website, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for increased automation and streamlined processes.
  • Process allocation of expenses and vendor invoices.
  • Research, initiate, and implement process‑improvement opportunities, creating process flows to optimize efficiency.
  • Manage benefit issues and appeal processes in a timely, fair, and compliant manner.
  • Prepare communication materials such as periodic benefits updates and benefit presentations for HR and supervisors.
  • Coordinate wellness activities with vendors.
  • Conduct benefits audits and data quality checks as needed.
  • Adhere to tight deadlines, multitask, and shift priorities continually.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s level degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR and/or benefits administration.
  • Proficient knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Strong comfort level working with HR‑related technology and systems.
  • Experience building relationships with vendors, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpreting and explaining benefits plans and policy features to a broad audience.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
