Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule for 13 weeks

• On-call and overtime responsibilities required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required with neurological case experience preferred

• Must have experience in comprehensive stroke facility procedures

• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT registration with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)

• Preferred experience in Vascular Radiography

• Work with Siemens technology and Cerner EMR systems

• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for procedures

• Prepare prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions

• Set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment

• Assist radiologist in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures

• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures

• Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information

• Perform radiation protection procedures including patient shielding and ALARA techniques

• Complete PACS and RIS documentation and image management

• Perform quality assurance procedures and maintain medical record documentation

• Responsible for sterile technique skills, patient preparation, and room setup

• Assist physician scrub-in procedures and perform post-procedure cleanup

• Conduct all 3D imaging requirements

• High school diploma or GED required with maintained continuing medical education hours
