Job SummaryUnder the supervision of an acting physician, the Medical Assistant supports patient care by taking vital signs, assisting providers, coordinating care processes, and administering administrative tasks such as answering phones, obtaining insurance authorizations, and entering data into the EMR. This role thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment within neurology, pain management, chiropractic, podiatry, and more.

- Screen patients while performing and recording vital signs
- Perform data entry through Electronic Medical Record system
- Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality
- Disinfect and clean room after each patient
- Explain treatments to patients as needed
- Change sutures and dressings as needed
- Assist physician during exam
- Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and act as an operator for the hospital
- Greet and interact with patients in a friendly and polite manner
- Register patients and schedule appointments
- Multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner
- Adhere to JCAHO hospital standards and policy statutes
- Monitor supplies and inventory as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degrees strongly preferred in Healthcare or Biology. - Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Must achieve CPR certification within 30 days of employment

- Excellent written and verbal English communication for safe and effective patient care documentation
