SOX Analyst

Hanon Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SOX Analyst to support the company’s Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance program. This role will play a key part in evaluating, documenting, testing, and improving internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) across a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SOX requirements, business processes, and control frameworks, and thrives in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

• Support the execution of Hanon Systems’ SOX compliance program in accordance with SOX 404 requirements
• Document and maintain process narratives, flowcharts, risk and control matrices (RCMs)
• Perform design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing of internal controls
• Identify control gaps, deficiencies, and remediation opportunities; partner with process owners to drive corrective actions
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, IT, Operations, and Shared Services
• Assist with IT General Controls (ITGC) testing in collaboration with IT and external auditors
• Track and report SOX testing status, deficiencies, and remediation progress
• Support external audit requests and act as a liaison during audit cycles
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SOX processes, tools, and documentation
• Stay current on changes in SOX regulations, accounting standards, and internal control best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, public accounting, or related role
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, COSO framework, and internal control concepts
• Experience working in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment preferred
