In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide on site leadership in the Novi, MI office, supporting daily operational needs.
  • Oversee work assignments and development of a team of local site engineers.
  • Deliver high quality customer support including system troubleshooting, field services, system startups, upgrades, and small project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction and long term business growth.
  • Develop training and growth plans to ensure team members are technically and professionally prepared to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager of Detroit Water Projects to forecast and staff site support aligned with project schedules.
  • Support estimating efforts and resource planning for future customer support needs.
  • Lead effective solutions to customer challenges that strengthen Emerson’s position within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
  • Partner with customers to collaboratively resolve technical, contractual, and warranty matters while balancing business goals and service excellence.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in field service, project management or similar.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and people leadership
  • Control systems experience, Ovation strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in systems integration
  • Experience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry
  • PE, PMP, or related professional certifications.
