Drives product design, development, and plant support to launch products effectively and efficiently, as well as grow technical capabilities.

• Understand internal and external customer design requirements.
• Communicate design.
• Validate design.
• Launch product.
• Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
• Capture lessons learned.
• Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
• Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.
• Manage program risk.

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience in automotive interiors.
• Experience in seating components like structure, headrest and armrest preferred.
• Global program experience preferred.
• Position requires travel, including overnight travel.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
• Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
