They are seeking an experienced Technical Sourcing Lead - New Product Development to lead technically complex sourcing initiatives and align supplier strategy with product development and program execution.

ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Sourcing Lead - New Product Development is responsible for aligning sourcing strategies with product roadmaps and business objectives:
- Act as the voice of procurement in product development initiatives
- Lead early supplier involvement, DFM/A reviews, and tooling readiness
- Own sourcing execution from concept through SOP
- Support program cost tracking, BOM reviews, and post-launch cost reductions
- Conduct global commodity market analysis and supplier benchmarking
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sourcing progress and supplier health
- Up to 20% domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience in automotive or manufacturing
- Proven experience managing global supplier relationships and commodity strategies
- Strong technical background partnering with engineering and product development teams
- Expertise in cost modeling, market analysis, and supplier negotiations
