Experienced

Required:

• 8+ years experience in engineering Instrument Panel / Console Systems thru all development phases.
• Experience with Catia software system and pulling in and cutting sections in data.
• Understanding of Instrument Panel / Console system requirements.
• Experience in DV/PV testing phase for instrument panel / console.
• Fast resolution of open issues for instrument panel / console.
• Plus to have knowledge of the VW systems.
• Strong understanding of the quality process from DFMEA, PFMEA and Control plans.
• Proficient ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Take direction from Scout Engineering to modify components for engineering/design/safety requirements.

• Instrument Panel

• Work with Supplier(s) to ensure proper upload of data into the VW system
• Part updates and changes to existing parts / assemblies needed to support manufacturing feasibility, part performance improvements, and/or changes to interfacing components /systems.
• Obtain B-Release for provided IP/Console parts
• Work with supplier to ensure tooling timing supports downstream deliverables
• Support IP/Console commodity DV/PV testing and lead issue resolution
• Support onsite Scout builds
• Issue resolution for all open IP/Console issues thru build phase
