Pay Range : $50 to $60/hr

Preferred Requirements

• Mechanical enclosure design and analysis experience
• Proficiency with Siemens NX and ANSYS tools
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with thermal and vibration analysis

Basic Requirements

• Engineering Degree (preferably BS in a STEM discipline for broader applicability) with a minimum of 5 years of experience, OR
• MS in STEM with a minimum of 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform component trade studies for new and existing hardware, create and review functional/physical interfaces, and generate analysis requirements for enclosures
• Collaborate with electronics engineering to develop enclosures that meet both electronic and mechanical requirements and guidelines
• Support creation of detailed drawings and model-based definitions, and assist project/manufacturing teams in procuring conforming hardware
• Lead technical reviews/design reviews, prepare and deliver technical presentations, and produce technical reports for project/customer communication
