The Director of Sales, Onsite Childcare - Faith Based Partners is responsible for growing our Pathways Learning Academy (PLA) brand through partnering with faith-based organizations to provide Monday-Friday childcare. This role will lead engaging presentations, assess opportunities, and manage a high-energy sales pipeline from first contact to signed contract. Through strong cross-functional collaboration with construction, licensing, and operations, the Sales Director will play a key role in creating impactful partnerships that drive business growth.
Essential Functions:- Builds and maintains relationships with churches, synagogues, and other religious organizations, as well as consultants, architects, lenders, and developers in the faith-based space.
- Responsible for leveraging ability to manage projects efforts to partner with internal ePMO, construction, licensing, and operations teams to assess existing church facilities for compatibility with licensed child care operations while ensuring initiatives are completed on time and within scope.
- Will ensure customer expectations (internal and external) are exceeded by anticipating needs, meeting deadlines, and maintaining proactive, customer-focused communication.
- Present confidently and effectively to prospects, including lead pastors of multi-site mega churches, tailoring presentations to align with audience needs.
- Represents the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and energy when engaging with customers, co-workers, managers, and families, fostering a positive company image and respectful interactions.
- Travel to prospective client locations as needed to support and close new business opportunities.
- Market directly to prospective clients, identifying and securing new revenue opportunities through onsite partnership agreements.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between internal teams to ensure prospects receive accurate and timely information.
- Utilizes Salesforce CRM to track, measure, and manage business development and revenue-generating activities, while effectively planning and managing future outreach.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects, applying consistent processes to maintain engagement and advance prospects through the sales funnel.
- Identifies and targets strategic opportunities to gain market share by aligning the company’s value proposition with prospective client needs.
- Communicates effectively with leadership by developing and reporting on metrics that track project performance, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required.
- 7+ years of experience in New Business Development and/or Account Management experience required.
- Operations experience in large multi-unit organization preferred.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education or service industry preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience working with faith-based organizations preferred.
Up to 50% including overnight domestic.
