AUTOMOTIVE LUBE & OIL TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities- Performs lube oil filter services in a professional manner and conducts vehicle inspections as required.
- Receives service assignments from the service writer or service manager.
- Maintains a clean, efficient work area and keeps the shop neat and organized.
- Ensures the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion.
- Keeps technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs.
- Performs the lube work within the allotted time and sets goals to increase efficiency and skill level.
- Provides excellent customer service for all customers, both external and internal, offering dependable vehicle service.
- Understands and follows work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from supervisors.
- Maintains equipment in good working condition and adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Participates in performance management and interacts positively with others to uphold employee morale.
- Upholds the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet the company's production and quality standards.
- Education and experience as described in the original job description elements for education and experience (as applicable).
- Devotes oneself to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Determines management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Follows directions from supervisors and works within company rules and procedures.
- Interacts well with others and maintains positive employee morale.
- Understands the terminology of the business and stays informed about product and service changes.
- Stays aware of federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business.
- Is able to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, and talk or hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift weights up to 100 pounds.
