& Pay
  • Full‑time:
    Tuesday – Saturday (Grave)
  • Part‑time:
    Saturday – Monday (Grave)
  • Hourly rate starts at $25.00; after successful completion of introductory period $26.50 per hour.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current California Guard Card License.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for 3 years (Vehicle Patrol).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in basic computer and smartphone usage.
  • English language proficiency (read/write/speak). Additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong listening skills, patience, compassion when interacting with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de‑escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in adherence to all laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.
  • Adherence to company and client policies and procedures with openness to performance improvement.
  • Clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
  • At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Successful background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Encouraged to pursue a police academy, law enforcement, or criminal justice career.
  • Permit for an exposed firearm is a plus.
  • Will perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods; can sit while driving a vehicle and stand or walk for long periods with uneven surfaces.
  • Climb stairs and navigate multi‑level buildings.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Withstand various weather conditions during outdoor patrols.
  • Manual dexterity to handle security equipment such as radios, keys, and locks.
  • Run or move quickly if needed to respond to emergencies.
  • Maintain physical stamina for long shifts while remaining alert.
  • Kneel, crouch, and bend to check low‑level areas or assist in emergencies.
  • Strong vision and hearing.
Responsibilities
  • Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, including multi‑level buildings and outdoor spaces, standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Climb stairs frequently to inspect all areas thoroughly.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents, including sprinting short distances if necessary.
  • Use manual dexterity to operate equipment such as radios, keys, and locks efficiently.
  • Lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Secure heavy items or assist with moving necessary supplies.
  • De‑escalate stressful or potentially volatile situations with professionalism, patience, and effective communication skills.
  • Maintain focus and remain alert throughout long shifts, ensuring safety and security of premises.
