Overview

Housekeeper at The Bluffs at Hamilton Hill. Shift: PRN on-call, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat 6:00am - 2:00pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm.

• Clean all resident apartments, common areas, and offices to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with community guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure safety by posting and removing caution signs as required, and report health, safety, and sanitation concerns to a supervisor.
• Follow work/cleaning schedules and maintain trash control and cleanliness of work areas.
• Use appropriate PPE and follow policies for handling and disposing of chemicals and hazardous waste; store materials securely.
• Follow policies for labeling, MSDS usage, and proper chemical storage and disposal.
• Assist in marketing the community by presenting a positive professional image.
• Encourage teamwork and maintain tact and friendliness with residents, families, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services, Director of Housekeeping, or Executive Director.

• Age 18 or over (or valid work permit).
• High school diploma or GED; ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Background clearances as required by regulations; health screening and negative TB test within the required timeframe.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred; on-the-job training available for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.

• Must be mobile and able to perform duties such as standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.
• Must be able to lift and move cleaning equipment and products up to 40+ pounds.

Pay: $21-$22/hr
