Electrical Estimator

Position Title: Electrical Estimator

The Electrical Estimator plays a crucial role in the success of residential projects by providing accurate estimates and fostering relationships with general contractors. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively. The estimator will work closely with a team of experienced professionals and will be expected to conduct site visits to gain insights into project requirements.

A focus on detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. The company values a collaborative and drama-free environment, making it important for the estimator to fit within the team dynamics.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 / Year DOE

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed takeoffs and organize bids for residential projects
• Perform site walkthroughs to understand project dynamics
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors
• Address requests for information and identify missing details
• Collaborate with team members to resolve electrical and lighting control challenges
• Manage approximately 12-15 projects ranging from small remodels to large projects

Electrical Estimator Requirements:

• 5+ years of electrical experience is required
• Residential experience is highly preferred
• 5+ years of estimating experience is required
• Accu Bid experience is required
• Project management experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and CAD is preferred
• Union shop experience is preferred
